Our story
Why we started Lakebend
Lakebend Software was founded in New Mexico around a simple observation: most growing businesses don't need more software. They need software that fits. Too many teams spend their days working around tools designed for someone else, copying data between systems and keeping critical processes alive in spreadsheets.
Large companies solve this with in-house engineering teams. Smaller and mid-sized organizations usually can't, and they're often stuck choosing between rigid off-the-shelf products and vendors who disappear after launch. We started Lakebend to offer a better option: careful engineering, honest advice and a partner that stays accountable for what it builds.
The name comes from the way a lake bends to fit the land around it. Water doesn't force the landscape to change; it finds the shape that works. That's how we believe good software should behave.
